Who knew the coziest socks you’ve ever experienced would also tell a story? Inspired by our time with the Patabamba women of Peru, each symbol represents a sacred part of their history. The ‘X’ is for the sun god, Inti, thrusting two swords to create the Sacred Valley. The Chakana is for community being at the center of our universe. And the eye was used to ward off wild Andean Cougars that once roamed the Valley. The Heritage Collection was created in collaboration with the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco, incorporating their stories and traditions into each style—with 5% of sales going back to the CTTC to support Quechua weavers and their families.
